Description: F.A. Davis is dedicated to developing teaching and learning solutions that meet the needs of nursing and health science students, educators, and practitioners. Applicants must be currently pursuing one of the following degrees or certifications in nursing: LPN/LVN, RN, BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, DNP, OT, OTA, OTD, PT, PTA, DPT, MLS, MLT, AT, MA, PA, CST, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable health science specialty.

Vocational Nursing Scholarship

 

Description: This Scholarship is sponsored by the texas higher education coordinating board and it is meant strictly for applicants who are resident of Texas, enrolled at least half time at a Texas college or university in a program leading to licensure as an LVN. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Abbott and Fenner Nursing Scholarship award

 

Description: The Abbott and Fenner Scholarship award is an annual essay award offered by A&F business consultant company to Texas undergraduate nursing students.

Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing

 

Description: this scholarship is offered to only Undergraduates students of nursing school in Texas and is also affiliated to St. David’s School of Nursing, Texas State University.

Texas Emergency Nurses Association (TXENA) Scholarships

 

Description: These scholarships are for students pursuing their undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral degrees in nursing at a National League for Nursing, American Association of Colleges of Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school. Applicants must be TXENA members living or attending school in Texas, and hold at least a 3.0 GPA.

The University of Texas at Austin (uta) School of Nursing

 

Description: The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing also offers a good number of Scholarships award which is given to nursing students based on both financial need and merit. Texas Nurse Practitioner Foundation Scholarships

 

Description: This scholarship is for students enrolled in master’s/post-master’s degree nurse practitioner programs or nurse practitioners obtaining doctoral degrees. Applicants must hold current Texas registered nurse licenses, be residents of Texas, have completed at least 25 percent of their program and have GPAs of 3.0 or higher.

Amount: Up to $3,000

Description: This scholarship is for employees of University Health System for at least one year, who have been accepted to accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing school degree programs. Applicants must hold a GPA of 3.0 or greater and volunteer for six hours per year of scholarship support.
